Our Story

Pastor Scott Springer always envisioned a life-giving church free from a traditional or typical church climate…a place where ministry is priority and where real love leads to new life! With the help of 6 men and their families, New Life began on November 3, 2003. The first service was held at the Springer home with 32 in attendance.

As New Life focused on reaching out to the un-churched, they quickly grew out of the Springer living room and moved to a store front building in South Clanton. Shortly thereafter New Life moved into a single building adjacent to Chilton County High School. New Life continued to share the life-giving message of Christ and continued to offer a worship service that was refreshing and relevant to people’s lives.

Today, New Life has expanded to a larger facility meeting needs through: Life Groups, a vibrant youth and children’s ministry, our 3 Strands Drama Team that enhances our worship experience each Sunday, New Life New Hope which is an outreach ministry to those in need, and an exciting Celebration Service each Sunday morning!
